Who are your anti-fracking candidates?
Voters at the Parliamentary elections should be aware that the fracking agenda is being driven by the Conservative Party, and has the full support of UKIP. Labour and Lib Dems have supported the Infrastructure Bill, but with some serious reservations and dissent within the party ranks, and it may be possible to persuade them to drop their support for fracking. Only the Green Party and the Liberal party have come out as totally opposed.
Councillor Andrews says: “Every Conservative or UKIP vote is a vote against the anti-fracking cause: every Conservative or UKIP vote is a vote for the destruction of our beautiful countryside.”
